Millions of cricket fans in Pakistan will soon get easier access to ICC tournaments, as Myco has officially secured the digital streaming rights for ICC events in Pakistan until 2027. The partnership will make major cricket tournaments — including men’s, women’s and U19 World Cups — available on multiple digital platforms nationwide.

This is a big development for local cricket viewership, especially as more Pakistani fans shift from cable TV to mobile streaming.

What the New ICC Rights Deal Covers

Under the partnership, Myco will handle exclusive digital streaming for ICC events in Pakistan over the next three years. This means fans will be able to watch every ball through:

  • Myco’s official app
  • Partner streaming platforms like Tamasha, Tapmad and ARY Zap
  • Smart TVs, mobile apps and web browsers

The deal includes:

  • ICC Men’s World Cup events
  • ICC Champions Trophy
  • ICC Women’s tournaments
  • ICC U19 World Cups
  • Qualifiers and regional ICC competitions

This long-term agreement gives Pakistan one of its broadest digital cricket access windows in recent years.

TV Broadcast Will Still Continue

While Myco leads the digital side, television broadcasts will continue through:

  • Geo Super
  • PTV Sports

This hybrid model ensures cricket reaches all types of viewers — from traditional TV audiences to smartphone-based Gen Z users who prefer streaming.

Why This Matters for Cricket Fans in Pakistan

1. Streaming for Everyone

Pakistan has a fast-growing digital audience, especially young fans who routinely watch cricket on phones. With Myco on board, fans get legal, high-quality streams across devices — without relying on unreliable third-party links.

2. On-the-Go Cricket Access

The deal allows fans to watch matches from anywhere: offices, universities, public transport or remote areas. Lighter, low-data streaming options on partner apps make the experience accessible even on slower networks.

3. Support for Women’s & Youth Cricket

Many global women’s and U19 tournaments don’t get prime-time TV coverage. Digital streaming ensures these events finally reach the audience they deserve.

4. High Stability & Official Coverage

Because this is an official ICC partnership, Pakistani viewers can expect:

  • Consistent streaming
  • Official commentary
  • Quality visuals
  • Reliable match schedules

It’s a significant upgrade from unofficial streams or mirror sites.

Impact on Pakistan’s Digital Sports Landscape

This agreement could influence how sports content evolves in Pakistan:

  • Increase in digital viewership for major tournaments
  • Higher investments in local sports streaming platforms
  • Better user experience through local-language commentary and enhanced app features
  • More advertisers interested in cricket-driven digital traffic

It also pushes Pakistan further into global streaming trends, where sports consumption is rapidly shifting online.

What Fans Should Expect Next

As ICC tournaments approach, Myco and partner apps will roll out:

  • User-friendly cricket dashboards
  • Live match notifications
  • Replay and highlights sections
  • Multi-language commentary options
  • Match analysis and pre/post-game segments

All ICC events covered under this agreement will appear automatically in the apps once tournament fixtures begin.

Myco’s partnership with the ICC marks a major change in how cricket will be watched in Pakistan. With official streaming available across multiple apps and devices, millions of fans can expect easier, legal and high-quality access to every major ICC tournament until 2027. From die-hard cricket lovers to casual viewers, this is a win for everyone
